Robert J. Alcorn, Chief Operating Officer
Robert J. Alcorn brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience to his role as n|Frame's chief operating officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to maintain the company's dominant market position. This includes developing service, market and operational expansion initiatives, managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the financial viability of n|Frame.
Bob is well-known, respected and actively involved in Indiana's technology community. Under his leadership, n|Frame became one of TechPoint's founding members (Indiana's only state-wide information technology association). He applies more than two decades of business and technology leadership to help n|Frame's clients achieve true business continuity through a unique fail-over model that integrates backup systems with standard operating procedures. This is accomplished through n|Frame's proven managed IT services and its advanced technology infrastructure that includes one of Indiana's largest professional data centers, carrier-neutral commercial Internet connectivity and one of the state's largest workplace recovery centers.
Prior to joining n|Frame in 2001, Bob served as the interim chief operating officer, vice president and chief information officer of Oxford Financial Group, where he handled client support services, reporting and human resources; chaired the management, operations and strategic planning committees; and managed day-to-day IT operations. He also held a variety of executive management positions with Anacomp, Inc., where he managed operations, systems development and financial activity for five data processing centers in the United States and Europe. In this role, Bob led nearly 20 acquisition teams ranging from $2 million to $100 million. He also held several high-level technology positions for Micrographics, Inc.
Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California State University and an Associate of Arts degree in business from El Camino College in California.
Russell Knipe, Director of Operations
Russell Knipe brings more than 12 years experience in engineering and support services in his role as director of operations for n|Frame. His primary responsibility is to provide leadership and refinement for n|Frame's five operations departments.This involves measuring and analyzing of uptime metrics and customer service, along with the continual inspection and analysis of all operations initiatives and services.
Russ' IT experience is concentrated on highly available network elements ranging from Telco-based services to routing infrastructures. He developed n|Frame's Network Operations Center and Network Services department, serving as engineer and then manager in each area prior to his current role. He also managed the large facility expansion completed in early 2008.
Prior to joining n|Frame in 1998, Russ served as help desk manager in a Regional Bell Operating Companys outsourced call center. While there, he hired, trained and managed a staff over ISDN and internet service support, building a team from two to more than 20 support engineers.
Russ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in telecommunications from Ball State University.

Michael Seals, Manager, Managed Services Team
Michael Seals brings more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry to his current role at n|Frame, serving as a thought leader and business advisor to managed services clients. His primary responsibility is to develop robust value-added managed service offerings for clients and to ensure consistent high-quality delivery of these services. Michael is regularly called upon to engage with clients at a high level, developing a solid understanding of their business and daily operations. He then works collaboratively with each client to integrate n|Frame's managed services into the client environment in a manner that addresses the client's specific business needs.
Michael's broad IT experience includes long-term project management within a wide variety of industries and includes strategic business planning, analysis of operational and business processes, defining the scope of technology initiatives and more. Prior to his current position, Michael served as lead engineer within n|Frame's managed services team. Before joining n|Frame, he was the information security practice leader for Bell Tech.logix.
Michael earned two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in information systems from Irvine Valley College in Calif., and one more recently in business administration (management of information systems) from Indiana Institute of Technology. He holds a wide range of industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Checkpoint Certified Systems Engineer, Symantec Certified Security Practitioner, Cisco Certified Network Professional/Design Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Certified Novell Engineer.
