John Curin and Jeff Hartweg, vice presidents at the Burwood Group, are guest speakers for the December Indianapolis Business & Technology Breakfast Event. John Curin has more than 10 years of experience in the planning, design and integration of healthcare information technology, focusing on provider institutions and medical device companies. He was involved in one of the first domestic Unified Communications integration projects within a hospital setting and has been instrumental in the planning, design and transformation of several hospital construction projects. As the leader of Burwood Group’s healthcare practice, Mr. Curin oversees and drives capabilities in healthcare information technology strategy and integration, clinical informatics, medical device planning and integration and facility transformation and development. He has been an active participant in several healthcare societies, including HIMSS, HCCA and the AHA, and has served as a panelist or presenter on topics including regulatory and security issues, the use of wireless technology in healthcare environments and healthcare facility design.
As vice president of the Infrastructure Technology Consulting business unit, Jeff Hartweg oversees the delivery of all strategic and tactical infrastructure projects for Burwood Group. He brings more than 20 years of advanced technology and program management experience primarily in the healthcare, manufacturing, insurance and consumer financial vertical markets. Mr. Hartweg has developed and implemented technology strategies for both large international and small, regional organizations. Prior to joining Burwood, Jeff was a senior manager, program management at Sapient, a technical architect for Bank One, and a network architect at GE Capital.
